Hornbeam - is what you call Urlay Nook what was RN Stores Depot Eaglescliff or was that elsewhere ?

That is correct Buggins, RNSPD Eaglescliffe, what went on there still falls under the O.S.A. Prior to that during and shortly after WW2 the T2 Hangers were part of an aluminium smelting plant where crashed and Surplus aircraft from all nationalities were scrapped and melted down. the area had aircraft stacked up all over the place parts of which still remain if you know were to look. ;)
