Although noted fitting out at HL across the stream is the Deucalion, y no 568, launched 29 July 1930, where i ask might be the 2 1928 programme B class destroyers HL built of the same class as Brilliant and her SH sister Bulldog, namely -
Blanche, y no 565, launch 29 May 1930
Boadicea, y no 566, launch 23 Sept 1930 ( none of this Boudica / Boudicca whatever nonsense here )
Blanche was the first RN destroyer loss in WW2, mined in the Thames estuary 13 Nov 1939 whilst Boadicea was the last A -I class lost, 13 June 1944 off Portugal to bombs.
Both Brilliant and Bulldog survived WW2 and scrapped post war.
Thats all folks. Sean.
