Built in 1953 by Vickers Armstrong.
Renamed MEDITERRANEAN SKY in 1971.

City Of York .jpg
Built by Vickers Armstrong at Walker in 1953 CITY OF YORK was the second of the familiar Ellerman quartet to enter service.
Pictured on one of her visits to Newcastle Quay. Note the cluster of craft belonging to Associated Lead alongside the ship.

Sadly now like this and apparently destined to be refloated and scrapped as part of a clearence of the bay
