50 YEARS AGO TODAY!
On our first holiday with my girlfriend Anne (later, and still, my wife), staying with realtives in Paisley.
Our holiday had to include a trip "doon the watter" which, as it happened, was on board the WAVERLEY, at that stage still operated by Caledonian SP Co Ltd.

We saw two laid-up BP tankers of NEM interest (see also BRITISH GLORY)
This was the second. River Clyde - 5 July 1972:

Quite possibly still in the same location as seen by Dennis a few weeks earlier.
