Interesting comment, young man.

She was one of 30 'H' Class 18,000 Dwt Tankers built for the Anglo-Saxon Fleet between 1953 and 1958.

HARPA, built by Harland & Wolff, Belfast was first of class to be completed in June 1953 followed by HELIX (Swan Hunter completed in October 1953) and HEMIDONAX (Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, December 1953)

HELIX had a crew of 52 and was fitted with one HP and one LP Turbine by Wallsend Slipway with Turbo-electric drive giving a speed of 14.75 Knots on 7,500 shp.

She transferred to Shell Tankers N.V. in 1962, she was renamed KOSSMATELLA.
26th May 1972. Arrived Hsinkang, China for scrapping.
