Taking shape at Swan Hunters & Wigham Richardson, Wallsend, in 1967 for Deutsche Shell Tankers Gmbh. (IMO6714720)
Sistership NACELLA was completed at the yard the following year.
NARICA was taken over by the Solena Shipping Co., Liberia, in 1986
Demolished at Chittagong 1993

Yard Number 2021.
Keel Laid. 23rd February 1966.
Launched. 25th April 1967.
Trials. 7th September 1967.
Hand Over 8th September 1967.

NACELLA.
Yard Number 2022.
Keel Laid. 26th April 1967.
Launched. 28th March 1968.
Trials. 13th November 1968.
Hand Over 25th November 1968.

Nacella's keel was laid the day after Narica's Launch, but was 3 months shorter to launch.
