Norway.

VALKYRIEN. Ex GARM EX TORONTO.
Former Canadian modernised "River" Class frigate. Built by Davie Shipbuilding Co. Lauzon, Port Quebec, Canada. Launched on the 18th September 1943 and completed on the 6th May 1944. Loaned to Norway on the 10th March 1956 and transferred outright early in 1959, and converted for use a a depot ship and again renamed in 1964, VALKYRIEN as parent ship for torpedo boats and gunboats.
D: 1,570 Standard. 2,240 Full Load.
D: 301.3 x 36.5 x 16 feet.
A: 2 x 4". 2 x 40mm.
E: riple expansion, Twin Shafts; 5,500 ihp = 19 knots.

Subs are two of 15 KOBBEN Class built in Germany 1964/65.
D: 350 Standard. 472 Submerged.
D: 149 x 15 x 14 feet.
A: 8 x 21" Bow tubes.
M: Twin MB 820 Maybach-Mercedes-Benz diesels; 1,200 bhp. Electric drive 1,200 hp. Single Shaft.
S: 17 knots.
Crew: 5 Officers and 13 men.
