My favourite film is on television right now BBC2. Main Engine stopped Cylinder Drains open and my work list has also stopped If there was ever an RN vessel that should have been preserved in GB it was a 'Flower Class' good job the Canadians had the good sense to keep one back.
Even though I have watched the film numerous times the scene where they start flogging up the Tailshaft Bolts still makes me jump

Thanks for the photographs TEESMAN, doesn't she look smart, a credit to the Canadians pity she isn't in steam. A Hammock slung over the Mess table, done that on the Eastbourne my first seagoing joined her at the Anchorage at Torbay.
