A sister to Seagull at Newcastle on 30 November 1998.

One of a class of 3 built by Fairmile at the Berwick shipyard for the RAF as air/sea rescue craft, the first of class was Sea Otter which was transferred to the Royal Navy becoming HMS Redpole.
