Dave, There was an LOUISE ET MARIE.

Original Name GARNET.
Launched 1916
1917 Requisitioned in February and converted to a Minesweeper.
1919 Returned to Owners.
1940 Hired from French owners in July as LOUISE ET MARIE and converted to a Minesweeper.
1946 Returned to owners in January.

1 x 6 pdr AA Gun.
Admiralty Number 3001
Port Reg as GARNET H 495.
Built by Cochrane & Sons Ltd of Selby.
251 Gross. 230 Under Deck. 98 Net.
Owner 1929 was Mrs A F Melville. Aberdeen. H A Skoyles Mgr.
121.8 x 22.6 x 12.2 ft
T.3Cy by C D Holmes.

The VIERGE de LOURDES ex JAVA was built in 1917 by Gebr. Boot at Leiderdorp.
154 Gross. 139 Under Deck. 48 Net.
102.1 x 20.7 x 9.7 ft
Owner in 1929 was Germe-Bourgain. Registered Boulogne.
French M/S seized 3rd July 1940 at Southampton.

RN Service November 1940 to January 1946.
