Yes, very sensible indeed Dennis and George.

I am not referring to Jack with his pokey small toy GPMG (General Purpose Machine Gun).

Look to the right of image and there sits a real machine gun....the Vulcan Phalanx.
How do yer fancy 60 rounds per second of high explosive 20mm ordnance up yer.....

You do the maths. Ok, i'll do it for you. 3,600 rpm per minute.

Ocean has now been sold to Brazil for about £80 Million sans Vulcan Phalanx. Hand over in next months.

In a similar vein the Swan Hunter built Majestic class carrier Leviathan, yno 1703 launch 7 June 1945, was proposed for sale to Brazil in 1953 but never was, ultimately never completed and heavily cannibalised then scrapped Faslane 1968. Brazil duly acquired the Colossus class Vengeance, Swan Hunter yno 1699 launch 23 Feb 1944, in 1957 renamed Minas Gerais.

PHM Atlantico, A140, of the Brazilian Navy commissioned in Devonport today, 29th June 2018.

The ex Ocean has been sold pretty much as was with 4 Mk 5B landing craft. Now displays a very different paint job.

She will remain in British waters for some weeks getting a work over by the FOST staff to whom she will be a familiar candidate. Wonder if their Portugese is up to speed as it has been a few years since Brazil purchased ex RN hardware with 4 Type 22's.

Atlantico is due to arrive in the Naval Arsenal Rio 25th August 2018.
