Posted: Thu Apr 17, 2014 5:44 pmLaunched by Hawthorn Leslie (Shipbuilders) Ltd on the 12th December 1966. Completed 14th September 1967 for the Ministry of Transport and Managed by British India.
4,473 Gross. 2,404 Dwt. 17 kts.
30th January 1970. Transfered to Royal Fleet Auxiliary.
8th June 1982. Bombed and Damaged in the Falklands.
Returned to the UK and rebuilt by Tyne Shiprepairers Ltd at a cost of £13m+ and returned to service.
4,473 Gross. 2,404 Dwt. 17 kts.
