At Wallsend. I recall a colleague who worked on them noting great consternation when the galley lining on one of these ships (Willams or Riveros) was stripped out and an enormous cockroach colony was discovered - attended to by extensive application of oxy-acetylene.

Launched 5th May 1958.
In Service 26th March 1960.

3,300 Tons Displacement at full load.
34.5 Knots.
Twin Exocet and Sea Cat Missiles.
4 x 102mm DP.
2 Sets of Parsons Pamatreda Geared Turbines.
Twin Props. 50,000 hp.
4 x Babcock and Wilcox Boilers.
Refit at Swans from 1971 to 1974.
