Ron2, maybe you should dig into these missing bombs?

Not stealthy and not too far offshore with a 300mm lens George, but yesterday’s murky weather was definitely not conducive to photographing grey ships and I didn’t have an opportunity to get down there on Friday when the weather was ideal! This was my best effort, after much Photoshop manipulation – and there’s more visible in the picture than could be seen with the naked eye!. There are some very good clear pictures from Friday on local shipping-related FB pages.

A worthwhile effort though, Dennis. This photo does prove that she's off Seaham. :)

Nice picture reminds me a bit of the "White Ghost" aka HMS Leviathan which was never Commissioned and sat in Pompey Dockyard for years, although she was painted Grey a trick of the Pompey light made her have a White Ghostly appearance under certain conditions, went aboard her a few times too strip bits of machinery out of her for other Carriers, she was mainly used for storage and as a spares source.

Yes George, she headed north on Monday - just about when the light improved!

According to forces net her C.O. Has said "fully operational in any part of the World with Fighter jets,Helicopters, Drones and other vessels" just one slight problem he will need 30days notice, blimey we could reactivate a 'dead ship' in that time although admittedly the ships were a bit smaller :) Still they have done very well considering the problems they have had to be able to "jump the final hurdle" after 'Exercise Joint Warrior' to get her sorted.
Break out the Plymouth Gin and the Woods Rum, I am afraid the 'Blue Liners' are a thing of the past :(
