TEES SHIPBUILDING

Postby northeast » Mon Sep 19, 2016 12:27 pm

The Tees & Hartlepool shipbuilding site has been re-launched today in modern format as a searchable database under the Shipping & Shipbuilding Research Trust, a sister to the Sunderland site. Thanks to Mick for setting the foundations for the change.
Several yards have been added, inc. the Stockton Construction Company (wartime LST's) and opportunity has been taken to extend the coverage to Whitby, mainly the Turnbull and Parkol yards.
Further input and especially photos are very welcome.

Doing well there lads!

My late Dad worked at Teesside Bridge & Engineering all his life...he often mentioned building barges during the War...along with Mulberry Harbour sections.
