Hi everyone

I'm working on a WW1 commemorative project relating to south coast shipping losses, and have managed to obtain photographs of nearly all of the ships lost. One ship, the SS Serrana, has proved to be particularly elusive and I've been looking for a photo of her for many years. She was built in 1905 by John Readhead for Scrutton & Sons. She was a cargo/passenger vessel, regularly trading between the UK and the West Indies. The closest I've come is is a reference to an oil painting of the ship, sold at auction some years ago, but then the trail goes cold. Can anyone please assist with a photo?

Thanks Dave. I have a great deal of information about the Serrana - pretty much all her voyages, circumstances of loss, survivor's reports etc. Her regular route was UK to various ports in the West Indies. Just can't find a photo anywhere. The seaqrch goes on.
