GOODBYE TO FOTOFLITE

Postby teesships » Sat Mar 19, 2022 9:47 am

Just spotted on a Facebook page that Fotoflite have ceased trading. They were formed in 1947 as Skyfotos. (So they've been going for almost as long as George and myself and a few others here on NEM have!)

Such a sad end but, unfortunately, maybe a sign of the times. We can only hope their invaluable collection of negatives, etc., will be going to a good home!

They did however use Army Surplus Air Observation Platforms (Austers), always a welcome sight being buzzed when beating up the Channel towards London Docks and then Home :) Happy Days.
