In German service 1941-1945, renamed RUHR
1945 WEA
1953 LEA
Grounded in fog on 26/3/1955, 4 miles N of Whitby on a voyage from Aberdeen to Whitstable with potatoes (which were salvaged faster than the ship!). Refloated in May 1955 after a temporary 'slipway' was constructed.

Broken up at Boom in February 1973

Kettleness seems to be confirmed as the location by an American newspaper article online stating:
The Dutch coastal vessel Lea high and dry on the rocky shore at Kellteeness [sic] near Whitby Yorkshire England after going aground while en route from Aberdeen Scotland to the river Thames The vessel about 200 tons went aground March 26 carrying oats and other goods Wife and three [chil]dren of Capt Van Der Veen of the Lea were taken ashore by lifeboat before the vessel went aground.
