KILSYTH

Postby Dennis Maccoy » Thu May 08, 2014 7:19 pm

The trawler Kilsyth was built at Lowestoft in 1954 as the Boston Pegasus. On 13 January 1977 she was under tow to the Tees to be broken up when the tow parted during a storm and she became a seaside attraction at Whitley Bay. Seen here on 30 January 1977, she was eventually broken up in-situ.
