BNS Godetia as part of NATO's Standing Mine Countermeasures Force Group 1 (SNMCMG1) making a courtesy visit to Newcastle Upon Tyne, entering Port of Tyne, 26th October 2012. Photographed from North Shields Fishquay.

She is a Belgian Navy minecraft logistics support ship, 2,500-ton, 92m long, and is the largest in Belgium’s small Navy. Launched on 7th of December 1965, at the Boel Yards (shipyard), Temse. Her role includes:

Fishery Protection
Support and Supply ship for minesweepers.
Command ship for Mine Counter Measure operations.

Largest in Belgian Navy? They now have some ex-Dutch frigates which I would have thought are rather larger than this old lady.

Belgian Minesweeper support vessel GODETIA - A960 outwards on the Tyne.
She was built by Boelwerf in 1966 and is still active. Sorry no dates on photos.
