Not much has changed with the old Groyne but the old Velva Liquids plant has long gone, that 'looks' like shell tanker moored alongside.
I once years ago had the opportunity to go 'inside' the groyne when they were maintaining it, and it's nothing like you imagine, it's like the 'Mary Celeste' and everything is made in solid mahogany from the time it was manned and surprisingly in excellant condition, it's far from a tin shack that many may think.
