HMS Example - P165 inbound to the Port of Tyne, North East England on 19th September 2012 and photographed from Western Quay, North Shields.

HMS Example (P165) is an Archer-class patrol and training vessel of the British Royal Navy, based at HMS Calliope in Gateshead, England and is currently attached to the Northumbrian URNU (University Royal Navy Unit). With a crew of 5 (plus up to 12 students) she acts as a training ship for students at Durham, Newcastle, Northumbria, Teesside and Sunderland universities.

But she didn't go all the way up to her usual Gateshead berth, but stopped off at Jarrow River Police.
