Now she was built in 1945 at Bethlehem Sparrows Point Shipyard in the good old US of A. as the AMACURO, comming to Esso in 1956.
4352 Gross, 5374 Dwt. Shallow Draft tanker to work out of Curacao.
They were Twin Screw Steam (Vulcan Iron Works 2000 ihp) and carried large Oil Bunkers for their size of 609 Tons.
Dim 366' 0" x 82' 8" x 15' 1.5"
They were not very popular around the coast because of their slow speed, 7.5 Knots on a good day with a following wind.
