1962 sold to Oy Tank-Tonnage Ab, Helsinki, renamed PANDA
1966 sold to Southern Seas Shipping Corp., Monrovia, renamed TROPIC BREEZE
1968 sold to Oceanic Mercantile Co. Ltd., Kingston, Jamaica, name unchanged
1969 on August 27th she sank after suffering an explosion while on passage Jamaica to New Orleans

If she was on a regular run and as George indicated on another forum it could well be an English Wife/Femme Fatal he is rushing to.
My favourite propulsion system, Triple Expansion with an L.P. Turbine a great set up, now that most Diesel powered vessels are 'slow steaming' for economic reasons a vessel fitted with a T.E. + L.P.T. would fit into the schedules nicely and along with modern Boilers + Scrubbers with large Nozzles fitted to the Boiler Burners, we could get rid of the Crud that ends up in the bottom of the Cracking Towers (which they are desperately trying to get shipping companies to use ) instead of passing it through today's Diesel Engines causing all sorts of havoc, it is bad enough having to run Diesels on HFO which is one grade up from asphalt never mind trying run to them on something worsererereer ( memories of Ford engine start ups on a cold winters morning before Electronic Ignitions came on to the market )
