Completed as LONGFELLOW in 1953 by Henry Robb Ltd. of Leith, for the The Rodney Steamship Co.
1961 Sold to Wm. France Fenwick & Co. Renamed BUSHWOOD
1971 Sold to Sabella International Nav Co. of Panama. Renamed MISTRAL
1977 Sold to Campania Pinares de Naviera, Panama. Renamed MALEA
1981 Sold to Italian ship breakers, arrived Savona on October 10th

Here she has arrived at Dunston staithes, a line is being passed from the fo'csle. I can't recall if she was actually going alongside, or being moored to a buoy. Maybe the ladder down to the waterline indicates the latter.
My notes give the date as 01/03/67 but I wonder if this is correct. If the ship in the distance, moored off Dunston Power Generating Station, is as I suspect the laid-up MARYLYN then this would be 1962?
