The suction dredger Arco Beck, completed at Kinderdijk in 1989, leaving the river this afternoon following a spell in drydock at A&P Hebburn.

Sand is very hard wearing on pipes,valves and pumps especially the wear rings on the pumps which needed frequent adjustments and of course technology has moved on.

Still in the queue for breaking at the Galloo (former Van Heyghen) yard. VLAANDEREN XIX and GODETIA in turn ahead of her.
