Craiova .jpg
Completed in Romania in 1962 at the Galati SN shipyard for Navrom Constanta. She was one of a Class of freighters named after Romanian cities/towns. Craiova is an inland university town which is the home of Electroputere who's workshops have produced most of the locomotives running on the nations railway system.
CRAIOVA was demolished at Sulina in October 1989.
Sadly I did not recorded the date of this photo, or that of a sister ship, DEVA, which I captured around the same time, also moored off Jarrow staithes.

Two hoppers behind her in top right of photo have red hulls with yellowish funnel with black top
Any ideas on them?
