So, has this berth just been re-activated, or have I just been unlucky in not seeing any tankers there during my many previous visits to Jarrow Slake?

Well, there you are! I'd just never made the connection before and I guess I have been very unlucky not seeing any vessel there until the NORDIC SIRA this week.

I agree with you as we do seem to have an increase of small tankers into the Tyne than say six months ago :D
