No doubt about it, the South side is nearly always the best for pictures. 33 years old now, I wonder how long she will remain in service??

Her fleetmate Sand Heron was recently sold and is now in Kuwait, so maybe on borrowed time.

There seems to be big money in the Sand and Gravel Dredging World especially in Holland where one Company based at Harlingen only quite recently bought a Coaster size Container Ship and turned her into a Suction Dredger called the 'Yed Prior' to feed their sand and gravel business, another company based at Ijmuiden has their Depot right opposite the Cruise Liner Terminal, when the strong winds blow it sandblasts the Cruise Ships, those that have not been scrapped yet :(

Caught her earlier on the berth and then sailing round past the old Readhead's yard.
Only the wall left standing now
