Some views taken during her employment on DFDS services between Esbjerg and the Tyne. Note the change in the colour of her hull.
Built as PRINSESSE MARGRETHE in 1957 by Helsingor Skibs & Msk, Helsinki, for Det Forende Dampskibs Selskab A/S.
She first operated on Copenhagen-Oslo liner services then switched to Copenhagen- Aarhus duties.
Sold to Birka Line in 1971, operated by Alands Linjen as PRINSESSEN
Sold to Saudi Arabian interests in 1978
Demolished 1987

Sad news item for those of us who have enjoyed occasional trips to Esbjerg, from the Tyne, or later from Harwich.
