This is/was the SCHARNHORN, reputed to be Hitler's yacht.

She was on the Tyne for a while then off to the ill fated Maryport Maritime Museum,

I think she went back to Germany in the end and is preserved rather than rotting in the UK.

Don't think the bit about Hitler's yacht has any merit.

Hitler's yacht was a different vessel altogether.

- And here she is in Hamburg just over a week ago on 5/5/14, looking resplendent as ever.
I believe she was in steam for the Hamburg Port 825th Anniversary held this last weekend.

She returned to Germany in 1990, when she seems to have gained (re-gained?) the extra 'A' in her name.
