HNLMS Walrus

Postby Tynesider » Sat Apr 19, 2014 9:05 pm

Couple of shots of the Dutch diesel electric submarine HNLMS Walrus at Northumbrian quay today as I left the lock.

You will note she flies the 'white ensign' not the red ensign in a British port.

Tugs are ordered for 09.30 Monday morning for departure.

Flown quite correctly in a prominent position and smaller than the Dutch Naval Ensign.
