Stephenson Clarke's Abbas, formerly Broughty - built at Groningen in 1955, laid up in the Albert Edward Dock on 26 November 1967.

Remarkable how this smallish Leith company (Gibson) quickly took up the gas tanker role in its formative days, the little QUENTIN was the first, I think.

Hi Graham.

I don't know! I didn't make any note of the outboard vessel when I took the picture - it could possibly be a Stephenson Clarke hopper but I've not been able to make an identification. However, I'm sure one of our more knowledgeable members will be able to provide the info.

She is Cargo Fleet No.3 bought in 1967 and which became Megstone in 1972
