Very nice Mike.
'CAER URFA' was the Old Celtic/Roman name for South Shields and meant the Town or Community on the Hill.
In this case the Lawe Top.
CU also used to be the Car Registration for South Shields.
Caer Urfa was also the name of one of the Tyne Pilot Cutters but I don't have a Picture of her to post. However if you Google it and check the Images you will find at least four......
