Changed because of weather offshore with the tow and Friday has a much higher tide.

Still find it hard to imagine that something of her size and value does not have any motive power of her own to get her out of trouble.

In operation she's fixed to the seabed by numerous anchors, umbilicals & risers that connect to the turret - regardless of any trouble she'd be going nowhere in a hurry!

She had the propellor removed and hense is not classed as a ship! and hence does not have a Captain.

She does have a COM (Chief Operations Manager) in charge of everything.

Now that could open a whole new can of worms, George............

Cause a 'Ship' was classed as a vessel with three or more masts, all of them Square Rigged.

As opposed to a Brig, Snow etc.......

A ship needs power from somewhere either engines or sail or oars :D

Even if Enquest Producer had any of the above she is still useless as she has no rudder !

In fact an FSO is a floating Storage tank!!

Well some of them are equipped with 'Thrusters' for final positioning etc, which in an emergency can provide motive power.

However considering how this one is moored when she's working she aint goin nowhere.....

Incidentally what are they going to do to her now she'd in?? Or have I missed that bit
