Newbiggin Lifeboat

The Newbiggin lifeboat has an interesting history and there is a good website. http://www.newbigginbythesea.co.uk/lifeboat/history.htm
The current vessel is an Atlantic 75 rigid inflatable. One of the former boats the Oakley class 'Mary Joicey is on display at the Maritme Centre which is well worth a visit as is the lifeboat house itself.
