Followers and enthusiasts of the RNLI might well be interested in a book by Amberley Publishing called "Lifeboat Stations of North East England".

Rest assured I don't have any involvement, or financial interest in the book, apart from having one of my photographs used on the front cover!

I thought I'd mentioned it previously on this site but, having checked, I hadn't.

Only pity is, it starts at Sunderland!
And the title says North East England.
I had hoped, they had made a mistake and ment North Sunderland (Old name for Seahouses.), but it is Sunderland proper.
If my memory services me right the old North East Division of the RNLI was Berwick to the Humber.
To much to cover in one book but would have made a great Two Volume Set.
