Difficult to know where to place this one in our shipbuilding archives!

This corner of Huskisson Dock represented a fine example of Yorkshire shipbuilding, in fact 4 examples in one photo in this view on 20/07/2016.

The lighter HEN as previously shown dated from 1925 when completed as a tank lighter by Cochrane, Selby for John A. Scott whose distinctive green colouring she still wears.

Offside is the converted wartime-built TID 43 by Dunston, Thorne and for many years now operated as the motor tug SEAPORT ALPHA.

Laid up astern of them, redundant from the grain trade to Manchester are the Yorkshire Dry Dock built pair TRAFFORD ENTERPRISE built as SEACOMBE TRADER in 1974 and her sister GINA D ex SEABORNE TRADER (still showing the lettering of a previous name YEOMAN ROSE).
