O.N. 180421. 54g. 0n. 65.0 x 17.0 x 7.4 feet.
C.2-cyl. (12½” and 26” x 18”) by Walmsleys (Bury) Ltd., Bury. Boiler by Stockton Chemical Engineers and Riley Boilers Ltd., Stockton on Tees. Oil fuel. 220 IHP. 8½ knots.
Post 195x: Unspecified type diesel.
2.3.1945: (Ministry Job No. A/MS/1057) launched by Richard Dunston Ltd., Thorne (Yard No. 561) for the Ministry of War Transport, London, (Stanley Lancelot Tottle, Hull, manager at the Ministry).
21.4.1945: Registered at Hull, vessel No.31 of 1945.
14.5.1945: Completed. Allocated to the South East Asia Command - Captain in Charge, East India Station.
25.5.1945: Left the River Humber, sailing independently, via the Caledonian Canal for Liverpool.
6.1945: Arrived in Liverpool.
4.9.1945: Allocated to the South East Asia Command - Captain in Charge, East India Station.
22.9.1945: Shipped, together with T.I.D.’s 135,136, 137, 138 and 139, on transport CB 37577 (vessel name not located), bound via Colombo for Rangoon.
6.11.1945: On station at Rangoon. (later listed as operating with the Mercantile Navies Department, Government of the Union of Burma / Myanmar)
4.1946: Owners restyled as the Ministry of Transport, (Stanley Lancelot Tottle, Hull, manager at the Ministry).
16.9.1946: Allocated to the Government of the Union of Burma / Myanmar, at Rangoon.
15.4.1947: Employed with the Government of the Union of Burma / Myanmar, at Rangoon.
28.1.1948: Intended sale to Burma was cancelled. TID’s 136, 137, 138 and 140 waiting, ready at Rangoon for shipment to Trincomalee on BELRAY (2,904/26). On arrival all tugs placed under care and maintenance for Strategic Reserve along with salvage and boom defence vessels already there.
11.1948: Sold to the East African Railways and Harbours Board, Mombasa, and renamed TIDDLER.
19.11.1949: British Mercantile Registry closed.
Subsequently reported re-engined, and later as demolished at Mombasa.
